This Okonomiyaki shop is tucked away in a quiet residential area, with two parking spots available right in front. When I visited, there were about five other customers. Every seat—both at the counter and the tables—is equipped with its own iron griddle (teppan). The interior has a cool, bar-like atmosphere. The owner, who grills the Okonomiyaki, wears a kimono made of denim, which gives the place a very distinct and stylish worldview. It’s truly wonderful. On top of that, there’s a friendly Sri Lankan man who helps prep the cabbage. Apparently, they even hold a "Sri Lankan Night" where they serve curry! It’s a place packed with interesting details. On this visit, I ordered: Kanran Mix B: ¥1,200 (Includes squid, beans, pork, and egg) In Tokushima, it’s common to include beans in Okonomiyaki, giving it a characteristic sweetness. The seasoning is comforting, and the fluffy texture of the pancake is absolutely addictive. With its great atmosphere and delicious food, this is a fantastic spot that satisfies both the eyes and the palate. Thank you for the meal!
