This shop is a scam. I paid 1000 yen for a 500 yen ice cream. They did not give me change and let me go. I came back showed the receipt to the girl at the cashiers. I was offer no appology neither in Japanese or English. She simply said 'oh!' as if I am the one made a mistake. The shop deserve 0 star to be fair, however Google only have 1 star as the lowest. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Kaon looks nice from the outside, but the matcha here is not real traditional matcha. The drink tastes like sweetened green tea powder mixed with sugar, not authentic finely-ground matcha leaves. The color and texture also lack the bright, silky quality of real matcha, and the sweetness is overpowering. If you just want a sweet green-tea latte, it’s okay. But if you are looking for true matcha flavor, Kaon is not the place. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
