Great service and hospitality ! The restaurant is also very quiet and clean, and everything was very fresh. The food came very quickly, still very hot, and I didn't have to wait at all ! If you come by Sendai, it's a great place to relax and have a comforting meal :) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The tempura was delicious and the miso soup had a rich taste. I also tried the brown sugar ice cream, and the flavor reminded me of caramel and condensed milk. There’s no English menu, but there are pictures, so ordering wasn’t too difficult. The restaurant had fresh flowers, which made the atmosphere feel nice. I stayed in the HIBARI guesthouse for couple days. The staff Miki さんへ recommended me this place. It was quite close to the guesthouse. It’s such a nice place. The food was delicious and the owner was so nice, but he only had one person so it should take some time for preparation. He gave me a drink for free and he tried to explain what it is. But I didn’t really get it until he brought out the turtle shield and said “turtle blood” again. Surprisingly, it was quite good. Besides the turtle blood, the meal set is great. I ordered a shrimp set. Usually, if shrimp is not fresh enough, it would trigger my allergies. But the shrimp is fresh and the whole set is so good. The fried vegetables are juicy and flavorful. Anyway, thank to Miki さんへ’s recommendation, gave me a chance to try a great restaurant. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
