Forgot to write a review from two years ago but that’s how memorable the food and experience was. Every culinary experience gets compared to this place from taste, atmosphere, and price when we travel. Someday we will go back to Costa Rica specifically to come back to this place. No hay mejor cumplido para nosotros que saber que su experiencia en Kapi Kapi ha permanecido en su memoria durante tanto tiempo y que se ha convertido en el punto de referencia con el que comparan otros restaurantes en sus viajes. Leer que algún día volverían a Costa Rica solo para visitarnos es un honor enorme y una motivación para toda nuestra familia. Esperamos que ese regreso no tarde mucho. Cuando vuelvan a Monteverde, será un verdadero placer recibirlos nuevamente y hacer que esa nueva visita sea tan especial como la primera.

My boyfriend and I went because of the good reviews on Google and after a few wrong turns (my fault) we found ourselves at this absolutely incredible restaurant. I had no idea a dining experience could be so magical. This genuinely tops any Michelin star experience I've ever been to. We sat outside and watched the hummingbirds fly and mist cascade on the mountains while the owner's beautiful cat played. I would strongly recommend starting with the focaccia app and a margarita, though anything you order (from our experience) was a 10/10. Please do yourself a favor and go here. Nos emociona saber que encontraron Kapi Kapi y que, a pesar de los desvíos, la visita terminó siendo inolvidable. Nos llena de alegría que hayan disfrutado no solo de la comida, sino también de la tranquilidad, la vista, los colibríes, la neblina y esos pequeños detalles que hacen único este lugar. Our photos really aren't going to do this place justice -- absolutely stunning sunset, meal, drinks, and a real genuine warmth from the folks who run this restaurant. We were originally thinking about going to the (overhyped) San Lucas Treetop restaurant but if we come back to Monteverde again, I'm going to be coming to Kapi Kapi Restaurante. Just made us very happy being there, and when the experience is perfect in terms of view/great tasting food/drinks and the staff is genuinely good people --> definitely a spot to keep heading to.
