Really good food, lovely range of dishes across Japanese and Korean cuisines. Delicious Korean-style fried chicken especially, very nice noodles and good sushi, as well as comfortable seating and quick, polite service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Wheelchair accessibility: Slight step up (3in or less) at the front door, reasonably spacious aisle, steep staircase to the bathroom.

My partner and I visited Kappa after seeing the reviews online, and we were certainly not disappointed. We were seated immediately and the waiter was attentive in taking our orders. The wait for food wasn’t long, and we could see the chef preparing in the back so we knew everything was fresh. We ordered some edamame beans, duck spring rolls, tempura veg, kappa maki and the salmon sushi set, and that was just enough for the two of us. The sushi was beautifully made and very very fresh. We’ll definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
