A MICHELIN star: cuisine of great finesse. Worth the step!
Good standard. Our best addresses.

A collaborative concept by Sushi Yoshitake in Tokyo and Sushi Shikon next door, Kappo Rin specialises in multi-course, season-driven omakase menus with both cooked and raw dishes. The Japanese head chef from Sendai takes pride in his vision of complementing rich flavours with unique condiments. You can pair the food with some of the best sake from Japan... More info

The lack of reviews for the past year should have been a red flag. Extremely overpriced (the Omakaze menu has very little to offer, we left hungry), most of the food was prepared by a junior chef and not up to standards, service was very awkward, and their time management makes it a very stressful experience. I got 4 reminders about being on time, they called me at 12:32 for a 12:30 booking (we were literally in front of the door) and basically kicked us out at 2pm on a Saturday. We didn’t even have time to take a picture for a birthday. All of that for 2200hkd/person. I can’t believe this is a place the Mandarin Oriental would endorse, it reflects very poorly on the other great venues. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $500+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
