Karin is a cozy Japanese restaurant located in Kitabefu, Akashi, though recent visitor reviews have become sparse, with the latest being four months old. The restaurant is especially popular for its lunch and dinner services. Known for its fresh, seasonal fare, the dishes are crafted using vegetables reportedly grown by the owners' family, which adds an authentic touch to the dining experience.
There are diverse offerings available, including alcohol, beer, and small plates, with table service providing options for lunch, dinner, and dessert. Despite the inviting atmosphere, a quiet and calm charm pervades the space. While reservations are recommended for both lunch and dinner, planning your visit could be beneficial to ensure availability.
Accessibility might be a consideration since there is no wheelchair-accessible entrance or parking, and there is no dedicated parking lot. However, visitors can use a nearby coin-operated parking facility. Visitor opinions vary substantially; some appreciate the kindness of the staff and the quality of catering services, while others have expressed dissatisfaction with telephone customer service as reported in reviews. Currently, more up-to-date information from Karin's ownership about any recent changes or improvements would be helpful, as existing customer feedback draws mixed impressions.

Cozy restaurant run by wonderful, kind and generous people. Lovely, fresh seasonal fare prepared using vegetables grown by the family of the owners.

Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Food: 5
