Honestly, everything was delicious, we ordered clams and octopus for starters, the octopus with its emulsion was delicious, my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. My partner ordered beef tenderloin and he loved the beef cheeks and it was delicious. The desserts were delicious torrijas and strudel. The meter was super friendly, attentive and friendly. What a shame .. what an excellent place.. what great gastronomy.. what great attention from its only waiter for two floors.. and what a very regrettable performance by the (I understand the boss).. in the face of the physical impossibility of appropriate attention (twice I had to get up to demand the necessary attention when the boy couldn't physically come).. cocky even ("we have enough staff" ).. I've been living in Vitoria for 54 years... I've kicked myself all the way. restaurants and bar places...including “the Kaska” several times... only as a couple and in a group... always without problem... never with any special demands and/or needs... but when I decided to go with my 83-year-old father (on a Thursday after May 1 in Vitoria!!.. let's see... it's not that we're talking about Santiago's day).. and due to obvious optimization of staff I receive poor treatment on two occasions (I insist... not because of the waiter's will... very attentive and very professional).. but because.. it is the only thing that has for everything in a day logically “valley”).. and I point it out.. “politely” .. and the response is.. very far from the obvious apology and empathy.. I insist that pseudo-cocky attitude of the old Basque waiter (who again... I understand was a manager... or owner).: unfriendly and lacking in No empathy ("we have enough staff"). What a shame, man... what a way to ruin a good experience... well, nothing... I'm sorry for having gone to your restaurant with my 83-year-old father, very limited to whom the excessive wait was obvious (for your business optimization decisions) makes a world of it... obvious also at your age... I'm sorry for having "bothered you" by spending our money on your business... and... don't worry... it won't happen again .. we will not bother you anymore.. continue to have “enough staff”.. and.. above all.. that “empathy” response to pointing out the obvious (redundant for the third time).. nor do I plan to ever return.. and...
