Besides Shinagawa Inter City, visit Kasuga in the vicinity. The success of this restaurant would be impossible without the pleasant staff. I have been staying in Shinagawa for work and I found Kasuga in the alley. I am glad I did! Kasuga mama san runs the shop and has been very friendly and accommodating. She speaks some English and always made an effort to speak with me and we had several good conversations. Her staff is also friendly. Sadly I will be staying in a different hotel location and won’t be able to enjoy the food as often. It was worth it while it lasted! I hope to return in the future!
