We had an absolutely incredible experience at Katsumi, and it was all thanks to Jamica. From the moment she greeted us, her energy was next level. She was warm, engaging, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation she made was spot on, and she helped guide us through the menu with confidence and enthusiasm. What impressed me most was her timing and awareness. We had an event to get to afterward, and she paced our meal perfectly so we could enjoy the experience without feeling rushed or delayed. What Jamica didn’t know is that before being seated, we had a disappointing experience at the bar/hostess stand and were seriously considering leaving. Thankfully, we stayed—and Jamica completely turned the evening around. She single-handedly saved our experience and reminded us what great hospitality looks like. Because of her, we’ll be back. Kasumi was incredible from start to finish. Our server, Jamica, absolutely made the experience. Every recommendation she gave us was spot on. You can tell she really knows the menu and cares about making sure you have the best possible meal. The food itself was amazing across the board. The hamachi appetizer was a standout, super fresh and perfectly balanced. Every piece of nigiri and every maki roll we tried was so good, and the mushroom gnocchi dish completely surprised us in the best way. Even the drinks were great and paired perfectly with everything. The quality of food and service made us feel like we were back in Japan. It was one of those meals you keep talking about after you leave. We’ll definitely be back.
