We discovered La Crepe au Chat after scouring reviews for the best Crepes in Rennes. With a 4.9 star review and being big foodies (I am a chef by trade) and having 2 hungry teenage girls in town, it was a must visit. A tiny, adorable and unassuming place, Le Crepe au Chat was an absolute delight to visit. We were greeted warmly by Laetitia who took our order. She was very kind and helped us translate the menu from French to English which I really appreciated. We ordered 4 x savoury crepes to start with and they were fantastic, especially the sausage, mustard and cheese - their speciality. They were so good, we went back for seconds - sweet crepes this time. We all chose the caramel crepes which were to die for! So good, that we actually went back for thirds as my daughter was still hungry! Another caramel and butter and sugar crepe to finish and the butter and sugar was magnificent! Warm, delicate crepes encasing french butter and just enough sugar. Warming and more ish, we were delighted. Consistency across all the crepes and served with the sweetest smiles and joyous energy from the two gentlemen making the crepes and of course Letitia serving us at the front. Do yourself a favour and pull into this creperie for wonderful crepes and even better service! Merci beaucoup Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
