It is the greatest place near Tenso Shrine. Indian dishes are to be tried here. Many people come to enjoy good japanese curry, butter chicken and tandoori naan. Delicious beer or good wine are the best drinks of this restaurant. You will hardly forget great lassi that you can order.
The success of Katchar Batchar wouldn't be possible without the friendly staff. Nice service is something that visitors note in their comments. You might pay your attention to the exotic atmosphere. This place got the Bib Gourmand award for tasty meals at affordable prices.

An Indian restaurant in Tokyo worth the trek and validated by a Michelin recognition. Food very flagrant and a punchy taste that make it stand out. Suggest to order their biryan and the cheese naan bread. Got the south indian shrimp curry and it was so flavorful that I mopped all the gravy clean from the bowl. Its recommended to get a reservation. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Absolutely delicious- we had the butter chicken, North Indian vegetables, cheese kulcha. Would rival some of the best places in New York / London. Attentive staff and cute atmosphere. Deserves its Michelin rating. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

From the moment I stepped into Katchar Batchar, I was no longer in Tokyo but transported to a vibrant, bustling corner of India. This wasn't just a meal; it was a transcendent, mind-altering journey for my taste buds. To call it "good" is an insult to the sheer genius happening in that kitchen. It's a culinary masterpiece. The butter chicken is not just a dish, it's an emotion. A silky, rich, and ridiculously deep flavor that proves every other butter chicken I've ever had was a pale imitation. The spicy mutton curry? A revelation. I've never tasted such a tender, perfectly spiced explosion of flavor that left me wanting to lick the platter clean. Seriously. I almost did. Every spice, every ingredient, every single morsel is handled with a level of artistry and respect that is rarely seen. The naan is an ethereal cloud of perfection, the tandoori chicken is a smoky, juicy triumph, and the house-made chai is a warm, aromatic hug in a cup. This is a religious experience for curry lovers. The staff are so warm and welcoming, they feel like long-lost family. If you haven't been here, you haven't lived. Stop reading this and go. Now. Your life will be better for it. Katchar Batchar isn't just the best Indian food in Tokyo, it's the best Indian food on the planet.
