Had a $35 Katsu set, but unfortunately, the pork had a terrible stinky taste —absolutely not worth it. Expensive and not tasty. To make things worse, the lady who served me gave me a dirty look when I explained that my partner was on a diet and had a late lunch, so we only ordered one set. Very disappointing experience overall. I ordered a 35 yuan pork chop set meal, but the pork had a very strong pig smell, which was totally not worth it! Expensive and not deliciousThe rice is still mushy To make matters worse, when I explained to the waiter that my partner was on a diet and didn't eat lunch until 4pm, so we only ordered one meal, she gave me a very unfriendly look. The overall experience is very poor! Is this five-star review a wash? It was so pleasure to have a lunch here at Katsuco North Lakes. I tried as many menus as possible there including chicken katsu and cheese katsu and so on. The fries were not oily at all and so crispy outside and soft and tender inside of the food. Although I can’t express how nice the flavor was I can confidently say it is the restaurant I should visit once a week at least. No explanation. Just give it a try. Best restaurant ever in Brisbane.
