I felt like eating a bunch of fried meat after a long day of walking the Tokaido and was not disappointed with the medium misokatsu. About a third of a pound of thick pork cutlet maybe *too* freshly fried -- the breading didn't quite stick, but it wasn't really an issue because I was just dunking whole chunks into the sauce. The miso adds a sweet note to the otherwise savory sauce and really amped up the pork. I didn't quite understand one of the questions a staffer asked about what kind of miso soup I wanted, so he returned a moment later with the question translated on his phone. Extra mile! I also got some fried squid legs, and contrast was the name of the game again. This time, it was the chewiness of the squid paired with the crunch of the breading. I wish I'd saved some for when the misokatsu sauce arrived with my meal, but I thought they were good on their own. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
