Kauai Kookie Bakery & Kitchen is an interesting proposition every time we passed by it on our way to Captain Andy's and Waimea. On our second way back to our hotel, I instigated a quick stop to Kauai Kookie; its one of the most popular Hawaiian shortbreads nonetheless. We bought our fill of their various shortbread cookies. But what is interesting is that they also sell what I must say quite pleasing hot foods in their bakery as well. Lunch plates, misubi, all are quite appetizing. Nevertheless, we just focused our attention on their shortbreads and we had a yummy snack on our way back to our hotel. If you are headed to Waimea, or any of the charter boat's in Eleele, a quick stop at Kauai Kookie Bakery & Kitchen is a good plan to have your sweet tooth satisfied.
