My husband and I went to dinner tonight and we were craving Korean food. We stumbled upon Kaya when we were looking up where to go for dinner. 10/10! I moved from LA and have been craving really solid Korean food ever since I moved and Kaya definitely satisfied my craving. We were so excited and ordered so much! Portions are large and we had to pack a lot of the food to take home — but we don’t mind that at all! Our favorite was the galbitang. The broth was steaming hot and heartwarming. We loved that they were super generous by adding three beef ribs in the broth! Overall, everything was delicious. We will definitely be coming back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you so much, Eloise, for your wonderful review! It truly made our day to hear that Kaya could satisfy your Korean food cravings after your move from LA. We're especially happy you loved the Galbitang—it’s one of our favorite comfort dishes too! It was just as much a pleasure for us to serve you and your husband as it was for you to dine with us. Guests like you make what we do so rewarding. We can't wait to welcome you back soon. Thank you again for choosing Kaya and for sharing your experience with others!

Oof. I had a very different experience than most reviewers. The staff was super friendly. And that's where the positive ended for me. I'm cheap and will eat just about anything, but I left most of my meal at the restaurant. I've never had food that was so bland and underseasoned. I know that sounds like exaggeration, especially for an Asian restaurant, but the only flavor was a very light sesame oil. If I didn't know any better, I would think I had COVID. Price per person: $50–60

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We're truly sorry that your meal did not meet your expectations, especially when you came in expecting a flavorful experience. We're glad to hear our staff made you feel welcome, but it's disappointing to know the food itself let you down. We take comments like yours very seriously because they're an opportunity for us to improve. If you don't mind, could you let us know which dish(es) you ordered? We'd really appreciate the chance to identify what went wrong. Whether it was a recipe issue or an inconsistency in preparation, we'll review it with our kitchen team and make the necessary improvements. We sincerely hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity in the future. Your feedback helps us become better, and we'd love the chance to provide you with the flavorful Korean-Chinese dining experience we strive to serve. Thank you again for your honesty.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Kaya Restaurant, a small but cozy establishment that serves Chinese and Korean cuisine. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, but it filled up quickly during our meal. I ordered the general tso chicken, and it was delicious! The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the sauce was spicy but not overpowering. I also enjoyed the accompanying sides of rice and vegetables. The service at Kaya Restaurant was friendly and attentive. The staff was always on hand to answer our questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I had a positive experience at Kaya Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a good Chinese or Korean meal. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
