Best Kenkey on this side Jordan. There are three notable kenkey spots in Community 11: one at A-Line, another by the market corner opposite the Complex School, and a third, The Kenkey House, less known, tucked away discreetly. The A-Line vendor offers a decent experience. Occasionally, they get everything just right, but more often than not, the kenkey is watery, the corn wasn't properly handled before milling. That said, their customer service is warm and consistent, which counts for something. The one by the Complex School, however, leaves much to be desired. The kenkey quality is poor, and the service is worse, they are rude and dismissive on top. I only resort to them when the other two are unavailable. But if you're looking for consistently excellent kenkey and genuinely respectful service, the Kenkey House is unmatched. They take meticulous care in preparing their corn, soaking it thoroughly before milling, and the result is always a firm, well-textured kenkey with just the right amount of stickiness. Their staff serve with humility and grace, seemingly unaware that they’ve set the standard. Interestingly, it’s said that the owners of the other two joints once worked here. If so, it appears they left before learning the full craft. Kenkey from Kenkey House is the best, there is only one joint in Adabraka that can challenge them.
