We enjoyed this fish boil experience. We love the cornbread and the cajun sauce that they put out in every table. The shrimp was good but I think the broth that comes with it was salty. For parking, might need to park a couple blocks or more farther bc it can get very crowded, parking is street parking. Overall, a memorable experience! Reservations: this place was great for easy online reservations. But they only do Cajun boils on certain days at certain times so if you don't see it as an option for the day or time try a different day or time. Parking: There is no specific parking and it can get very crowded in the area and while there is free parking, you might have to walk. This might be a reason to schedule an early dinner, just to get parking. In the middle of Sept we had no issues parking but did have to walk several blocks still. The show: a fish boil has the big boil over as the highlight to the cooking process. The Cajun boils don't but chef shows you the food you will eating and tells you about the cooking process and interesting info about your food. The process starts as you check in for your reservation, order a drink and they'll let you know what table you are assigned to. We got our drinks and headed out back where the put with some food was already boiling and the show was too start. Then it's time to go in and eat. The food was great and well portioned. We got dessert but had to take it to go the food was so good. We recommend the Cajun boil and the fish boil for a great time and the biggest you group the more fun you will have so bring some friends. Give this review a like and ask for the corn bread as part of your Cajun meal, can't go wrong. I dined at the Kettle Black restaurant in July 2024. They served up a Cajun shrimp boil which is what attracted me. The boil itself was fairly quick and enjoyable. My table was ready when the boil ended and I was served promptly and attentively. The corn muffins were like no others! So delicious. The boil consisted of Cajun shrimp, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, corn, andouille sausage, and lots more goodies. They have their own spice and their own remoulade, both of which I bought and took home. The atmosphere is casual elegance. The service was so attentive and comfortable. I will return here and I can’t wait! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
