Great location. Booked exec room for 2 nights , expecting a great experience, unfortunately it wasn't,left after 1 night. A tired room, poor bed for posture, an unfinished bathroom to boot, noisy from bar. Manager refused to refund, altogether a bad experience. Rooms: 2 Service: 4 Location: 5

We have really enjoyed our stay here the staff are friendly and helpful. I have a gluten intolerance and they catered well for my needs. Rooms: Clean and tidy and catered well for our stay. Nearby activities: Kew gardens was a short walk away and so was the train station. Safety: Locks on the doors are very good with a very good key type. Walkability: Excellent short stroll all shops Food & drinks: Food was excellent and we enjoyed our time in the bar. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Romantic

I had a most enjoyable Easter monday lunch here , in this very nice pub / hotel with excellent food. Began with warm sourdough bread and butter, tasty. Then I had the sweet potato and coconut soup with sourdough toast and butter, which was fine. I do like a good soup ( and not the ever boring tomato and basil - which unimaginative chefs always make ). As main I had the succulent roast chicken with red cabbage and parsnip puree and carrots. with a delicious side of peas . Peach Melba knickerbocker glory was my jolly good dessert. Next time I will have the passion fruit sorbet. Many fine dessert options. Good and friendly service and a clean place. ( I have not used the hotel ). Outside tables that catch the sun, and a beer garden. Very near Kew Gardens Underground station on the district line, and Overground station . Bus stop right outside the pub for the 110 bus to Chiswick and Hammersmith . And Scores On The Doors - Ofiicial Food Hygiene Regulations - the Kew Gardens Hotel scores 5 out of 5 - like all the best places . This is awarded by Richmond upon Thames council. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
