Back at Keyaki after many years and still loving the ambience at the restaurant. Ordered the spider maki, special salmon maki, agedashi tofu, smoked duck salad, wagyu sirloin, garlic fried rice & beef fried rice. Food was great, a must order was definitely my favourite - beef fried rice! Sirloin was also served with garlic chips! Thank you to Jeff & all the staffs who took care of us for the night! The manager added a cushion for our pregnant guest, Jeff helped to portion our orders to 4servings, also prepared a cake dessert for our birthday guest making it a memorable night for us! Love a meal experience that feels like travelling within a city, and this was one of those places. That said, the food standards seem to have dropped. During lunch, there were only about five tables occupied, which reflected the noticeably quieter atmosphere. The setting still carries its charm beautifully — I just wish the food matched the experience again. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100+ Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Portion is on the small side for the high end price. Chicken teppanyaki is $35, fried mushroom is $15 and garlic fried rice is $10? I don’t know man. Quality was there but I felt only their maki was priced more friendly. Luckily we have small appetite. Guess this place is meant more for one-time/special occasions :’) extra note: why are they using disposable chopsticks for a high end restaurant. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $70–80 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
