Outdoor pet friendly seating. Excellent service. Pad Prik King with vegetables medium spice -- so good! Vegetables cooked to perfection. Tall Singha beer. Our new go to place for spice on sunny days!

What a wonderful find! Delicious food and gracious service can be found at Khao Yai Thai Kitchen in Beaverton. Just popped in for lunch. There were three of us. The massaman curry had big chucks of beef. My companion and I ordered the soup, which she said tasted like the dishes she ate in Thailand. The large bowls of Khao soi with chicken brought joy. Atop the bowl of the creamy Northern Thai coconut curry soup , thick with vegetables, were crispy egg noodles. Underneath was a layer of egg noodles. At the table we we asked about our protein and spice preferences. My choice is mild but it would be easy to ramp this soup up to inferno level. The portions were large. Brought home the leftover soup and made two more meals. Use a little rice to soak up the sauce. I have one dining regret. I should have ordered more dishes and brought them home for two more dinners.
