That's a good idea to order nicely cooked fried chicken wings, potato salads and belly pork. At Kiawe Roots, clients may have tasty ice cream, French toasts and banana dessert. It is nice to enjoy delicious beer, wine or whiskey. Taste good ice tea, hibiscus tea or juice, it's a must when visiting this place.
At this spot, you can order food as a takeaway. The friendly staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at this bbq is something one can call professional. Ate here on our trip in 2022 and we still talk about the terrific food and atmosphere. Coming back to Kauai in 2026, it’s the first place we looked up to go there again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

2022:. This is THE place that encapsulates how island food should be- fresh and tasty! Got a couple of veg options- tofu bowl and soba noodles, and both were perfect, and I wasn't even hungry. The drinks were another level- the spiced pineapple drink was the right mix of spice and tang, and POG. The ambiance is alright but food is to die for! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Wow! We have been in Hawaii (Maui and Kauai) for two weeks, and this has been the best breakfast we have had so far. Everything we ordered was delicious, starting with the coffee. The Likikoi pancakes were soft and perfectly fluffy, and the salted honey butter on top was like nothing we had ever tasted before. The Green Egg and Pork Belly was incredible - the pork belly was perfectly seasoned and melted in our mouths, and the side garnishes perfectly balanced out the flavour. What’s best is that there prices are fair and reasonable. We have spent far more at luxury hotels and the quality of food did not compare to Kiawe Roots!
