Great little Okonomiyaki place. Very laid back and authentic atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The owner was happy to make a vegetarian dish for us. There is no English menu, so you automatically start a conversation. We chatted with the owner about Japanese Reggae while he prepared the food before our eyes on the hot table. A great place in a beautiful little town. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian option on the menu and it was delicious!

Significant other and I showed up at 7pm excited, hungry, and cold. But unfortunately, the place was full. So we stood outside searching for a different place to go to on google maps instead (very limited as it was Dec 26th). A very kind person eating there with a group came outside for a cigarette and told us his table would be leaving in 20 minutes if we were okay waiting. Relieved, we thanked him and waited in the cold (3°C and windy) still excited to try the okonomiyaki. Him and his group of 3 or 4 came outside ~20 minutes later, (again, VERY kind.) Motioned to us to head in after we thanked him again, but the owner locked the door behind them. All while there were still 2 tables of people inside eating, and some had already finished their plates that I could see. We thought maybe he needed time to clean and would come get us. Waited a little bit longer and nothing. So.. good luck getting in or treated well if you're a tourist. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
