Its a cute little restaurant, the servers were tentitive (I'm not sure if thats the right word or not, but they were there to make sure you had everything), the little candle made us happy on our little date. We got three shareables, the cheese curds, the nachos, and the chicken tenders. I the cheese curds were BOMB they could maybe be a lil crispier. The nachos were really good, the pulled pork on them was nice tender and sweet. And the chicken was real good, I dipped in ranch while my partner dipped in bbq. I highly suggest coming here, you'll be welcomed and you'll eat some tasty food as well! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Dietary restrictions: My partner has peanut allergies, when we asked they said there was no peanut oil, which is great! We had a tasty and safe time!

I ordered takeout from Kickapoo Creekside specifically because the menu stated that a salad bar was included with an entrée. Before placing the order, we even asked about it over the phone and were told they would check, as they “typically don’t allow it during busy season.” When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy at all, yet we were still told we could not go through the salad bar ourselves. Instead, we were offered a small pre-made side salad with very limited toppings, which is not the same thing. If the salad bar is dine-in only, that needs to be clearly stated—especially when customers are asking about it ahead of time. To make matters worse, my son’s order was incorrect. When I called back to address it, the employee I spoke with laughed at me during the conversation, which came across as extremely dismissive and unprofessional. We live locally, and in a small community like this, experiences like this matter. Losing a local customer over something this simple was disappointing, especially when it could have been handled differently. Meal type: Dinner Service: 1
