【五島の奇跡！女将さんの愛情と驚愕コスパに心奪われる名店】 漁師町の中心に佇む、女将さんがたった一人で切り盛りするお店。ここは、私が五島で最も感動した場所の一つです。 決まったメニューはなく、カウンターに並んだ美味しそうな「おばんざい」を選ぶか、「こんなものが食べたい」と女将さんに伝えるスタイル。一人で回しているのが信じられないほどの提供スピード、そしてもちろん、素材の良さが際立つ料理はどれも絶品です。極め付けは会計時。あまりの安さに「計算、間違っていませんか？」と本気で尋ねてしまったほど、衝撃的なコストパフォーマンスです。 後日、その感動を友人と分かち合いたく、一人5000円のコースで予約して再訪。これがまた、想像を絶する内容でした。「人生で一番うちわえびを食べた日」として記憶に残るほど、次から次へと豪華な料理が並び、全員が満腹になったタイミングで、追い打ちをかけるように名物の五島うどん「地獄炊き」が鍋でどーん！と登場。 美味しい料理と、底抜けに明るい女将さんの人柄に、友人たちも一瞬で大ファンになっていました。味も、値段も、温かいおもてなしも、すべてが最高。五島に来たら絶対に訪れるべき、心から推薦したいお店です。 A Miracle in Goto! Incredible Food, Unbelievable Value, and an Unforgettable Host. This is, without a doubt, one of the most incredible places I've found in Goto. "Kingyo" is located in the heart of a fishing town and is run entirely by one amazing woman, the okami (owner/chef). There's no set menu. You either choose from the delicious-looking obanzai (Japanese home-style side dishes) lining the counter, or you simply tell the okami what you're in the mood for. The quality of the seafood is second to none. I was stunned by how quickly she prepares everything by herself, and every single dish is fantastic. But the biggest shock comes with the bill. I genuinely thought she had made a mistake—it was that affordable. I had to share this experience, so I later returned with a group of friends after booking a ¥5,000 per person course menu. What followed was an absolute feast beyond our wildest imaginations. I can say with confidence that I ate more uchiwa ebi (fan lobster) in that one meal than I have in my entire life. Just when we thought we couldn't possibly eat another bite, the okami brought out a huge hot pot of the famous local Goto Udon, Jigoku-daki ("Hell-Boil"). My friends all became instant fans of the cheerful and energetic okami, just as I had. The food, the value, the warm hospitality—everything about this place is perfect.
