Light, bright, with urban sensibility that pays omage to its Filipino roots, Kilig is the cool place you want to drop in to get a great bowl of soup or fried noodles and catch up with friends. The cocktail menu is fun. My kilig na kilig was delicious. Lumpia was fresh and crispy. It came with a vinegar based dip that i didn't think add anything to the lumpia,except maybe to cut the richness a bit. Wings are very crispy and coated with tamarind dust. In today's kfc frenzy where you get crispy fried wings on every corner, these stand out because of the tamarind dust. Reminded me a bit of the lee hing mui (dried salted plum) that we ate as kids. Not your typical fried wings flavor profile but i welcome the boldness. I think it's a must try. Hubby got the beef salpicao. The dish looked 12/10, glistening with lots of wok fried energy, the kind from well seasoned meat tossed in an inferno. I was very disappointed that it's so salty i wasn't able to taste anything. What a bummer. Perhaps they had an off night. If we go back i will actually order this dish again hoping to get a better balanced result, because it looked so damn good! Ube panna cotta has tapioca inside and jelly on top. Not too sweet, nice texture, like eating a thick bubble tea? Very enjoyable. Despite some of the shortcomings, i will go back to try some of the rice and noodles dishes, and beef salipcao!

Really nice interiors, vibes are great. Wish the music was a little softer. Love the food!!!! Absolutely delicious adobo and and beef bone soup. We also got the ube panna cotta, wished the jackfruit was a bit more tart to cut out the sweetness Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
