Just ate at Killen's BBQ,, 11/18/22, for 2nd time. 1st time was great when they 1st opened...not so much this time... ordered a silced beef sandwich with marbled beef. Server asked me a few second later did I want chopped.... I reconfirmed I wanted marbled and no lean BBQ Beef sandwich. What I got was small leftover pieces chared pieces with nothing but dried out lean chopped up pieces.... terrible. My side of baked beans were over cooked, mushy, dry baked beans. I had also ordered a side of fries.. was given a number on a pole and said they would be right out....well after a good 15 to 20 minutes the guy at the counte noticed my number pole was still on my table..asked me if I was waiting on frys..I confirmed yes....in another 10 minutes they finaly showed up as I was finishing my beef jerky sandwich.... the fries were soggy and full of oil..all of this $30+ dollars?!... for just me?!?... I have always heard what great BBQ Killens Pearland had, never tried it since there was always a long line... was glad to see them open in the Cypress area off of 290..... BUT THIS PLACE IS NT WORTH IT... To the owners.. come up here from Pearland and get this place straightened out.... I was always wondering why the parking lot was empty when I would drive by..... now I know. PS...my appoligies to Carl's BBQ right down the road, been there for 30+ year and always great food...should have stayed with a proven local standard. Signed....Disappointed Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
