You guys HAVE to check out this old-school Chinese joint on Charoen Nakhon Road. It’s got that classic family-run vibe, but the food? Pure professional "Lao" (High-end Chinese) quality. The portions are massive, the ingredients are top-notch, and the wok hei is real. Deep-fried Seabass Rad Na (150 THB): This is the MVP. They take the wide rice noodles and deep-fry them until they’re airy and crispy—exactly how the high-end Chinese banquets do it. The gravy is perfectly thick and glossy, with huge chunks of lightly battered seabass. Plus, they pile on so much Hong Kong kale that you don’t even need to order a side of veggies. Honestly, two people could barely finish this one dish! Chicken Go-Chi-Mee (Crispy Noodles in Gravy) (120 THB): They use those thin egg noodles and fry them until they’ve got that perfect chewy-yet-crispy texture. The gravy is loaded with thick-cut bamboo shoots (looks hand-cut, too!). The flavor is a bit on the mild side, so you’ll want to season it a bit to your liking, but the texture is spot on. Pork Satay (Small Set): We saw the grill station at the front and couldn't resist. The pork is thick and meaty—not super tender, but definitely not tough. But the satay sauce? Absolute fire. It’s rich, bold, and exactly how a good sauce should be. And they don’t skimp on the Ar-jad (cucumber vinegar side); they give you a ton! Verdict: 10/10 would go back in a heartbeat. I have had the opportunity to go to this restaurant very often because I like the taste of Thai-Chinese style food but still maintains a strong taste and the price is quite reasonable, not expensive. I recommend you to try it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿600–800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
