This was my first visit to Kimchi Box Plus and it was delicious. I ordered the Popcorn Chicken Kimchi Box with Sassy Korean sauce and it was great. The japchae noodles and chicken were my favorites out of the box. My friend loved his dish as well. When I got home and my wife tried my leftovers, she asked me where I got it and commented how good both the rice and chicken were. I've already recommended someone go to it and would love to take my family as well. I'll definitely be back in some capacity. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

I'm writing this while the disappointment is fresh. The Kimchi: I don't really like kimchi, but if you put it in front of me I will eat. I know what good kimchi tastes like. Their kimchi tasted like they cooked the cabbage separately, then mixed it in kimchi sauce. There was no taste of fermentation. It had no kick and kinda tasted sweep. Side Dishes: they were fine. Nothing good nothing bad Main Dish - Pork Belly Kimchi Soup: The taste was good, but I had to fish for the small pieces of pork belly there in the soup. I expected the pork belly ti be a big part of the soup, yet it was literally the least ingredient in the dish. It's more accurate to call it Tofu Soup with a splash of pork belly bits. Also, it seemed like someone just broke a bar of tofu in half and threw it in there. The presentation was not good. Cut it and make it look like it was made by a chef. The Egg Soup thing: I've had these many times and it seems they didn't try ro do anything to it. The picture showed it should have had scallions but it didn't. It was very bland. I've had it many times before and other places either add some soy sauce or something to add to it. Overall a very disappointing experience. It's the type of experience that makes you want to take a break from Korean food. Words cannot describe how happy we are to have found this place! The only other K-BBQ we had been to had tiny portions, so imagine our surprise when we ordered a bunch of stuff and there was SO MUCH FOOD!!! Wild concept, right? But seriously - you get SOOO much bang for your buck here. The PORTIONS ARE HUGE!!! The staff kept bringing out all that we ordered and we literally said “Oh no, is that OURS TOO?!” It was amazing. Did we feel like ignorant, fat whities? Yup. Did we have stupid grins on our faces the entire time and enjoy this amazing restaurant? Also yes. Happy to have the EXPERIENCE and will definitely come back better educated to save ourselves from stuffing our faces to the brim! Or not - we don’t mind the occasional over-indulgence. Amazing food and lovely staff. 100/10 recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
