I accidentally stumbled across this restaurant on Google maps when I was looking for something else, but I will now put this on my list of restaurants to go back to. There were three of us, so we were able to sample different things. All were good, but the Korean fried chicken on fried rice with a poached egg on top was extraordinarily good. I could literally eat it every day. Then the authentic Basque style cheesecake for dessert immediately took us back to our favorite dessert in Madrid. The restaurant is a little hard to find, but very much worth the visit if you are looking for something unique in Cuenca. I was recently talking to somebody at a bar, and he told me that this place had the best burgers in the city. He whispered it to me like it was a secret. Lol. I had lunch there today and was shocked. I’m actually a little angry that I’ve been living here for 5 years and didn’t know about this place. Food was fantastic. The owner and the employees were so nice. I’ll be back soon. So many items on the menu that I need to try. So happy to have made this discovery. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $5–10

We ate at Kimchi Kuchi for the first time today and I was so anxious to write a review to let everyone know how great it is! Restaurants come and go very quickly in Cuenca, and this place has a bit of a disadvantage by being located in kind of an out-of-the-way location, and I'm also worried that people won't understand what kind of food it is based on the name of the restaurant. They specialize in hamburgers and sandwiches. I ordered the "Oklahoma" burger and my husband had the pork belly sandwich. I got the smaller version for $5.75--both sandwiches came with a generous portion of house-made fries. My husband's sandwich was HUGE, and I was surprised he was able to get his mouth around it! He let me try some of the pork belly and it was very tender, moist and flavorful. We are anxious to try some of the other menu items like the chicken with Korean BBQ sauce. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $5–10 Vegetarian options: Yes, they had several vegetarian burgers.
