Came down for a camping holiday with a couple of lads, came to this pub for what was meant to be one drink...staff were so nice and helpful plus prices were good and had a brilliant live band on so we stayed till I took my meat raffle prize back (which I won there) . Definitely recommend this place! Also, no food at the pub but the Chinese that's literally next door can be ordered to the pub, the Chinese is 5 star too. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful community pub really friendly staff and locals. They don't do food but are happy for you to buy a Chinese or Indian takeaway and eat at the pub. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely friendly welcoming pub. Stopped in for a quick drink on Boxing Day with my wife while we were out on a walk from our hotel The Mercure in Pembury. Many locals in the pub who were very friendly. My wife had an excellent glass of wine and I had a perfect pint of real ale. I highly recommend The King William IV. Ten out of ten.
