Delicious food but be warned about portion sizes, we got full very fast. Great variety in rolls and was excited for sashimi! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

Food is great, service is so so. They don’t do reservations but they should because i have come multiple times and have had to wait for more than an hour to be seated. It’s just an annoying aspect that I have to consider every time I want to eat here. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $30–40

Exceptional Food Quality & Value with Room for Service Efficiency I recently visited Kintaro Sushi and Hibachi for an all-you-can-eat dinner with my wife and 8-year-old son. As a Local Guide, I’m always looking for that perfect balance of quality and experience, and Kintaro mostly hits the mark. The The price-to-quality ratio here is outstanding. Nigiri: The Salmon, Yellowfin, Tuna, Mackerel, and Red Snapper were incredibly fresh. Hibachi & Rolls: My wife really enjoyed the Tokyo Roll and the Steak Hibachi, which was cooked perfectly. Kid-Friendly: My son loved the noodles with crab meat—a great, flavorful option for children. The Service: 4/5. The staff was very friendly and hardworking, especially considering the restaurant was completely packed. However, there is room for improvement in pacing; we experienced 20–25 minute gaps between each meal being served. While understandable for a busy new spot, a bit more synchronization would take the experience to the next level. The Atmosphere: 5/5. Even with the crowd, the vibe was great for a family night out. Final Verdict: Despite the wait times, the food quality is some of the best AYCE you will find in Tucson. We will definitely be back!
