Very disappointed by the experience I received. They changed the chief and owner. But they still use the same website, so don’t get fooled! The food now is over priced and the chief...

Lin, we do not provide in-person service so I am not sure why we are receiving an one-star review from experience you guys received from another restaurant. Please check the restaurant that you are trying to review as we at Takeshi do not provide in-person dining services. We have multiple messages on the website that we stopped providing in-person dining service since Summer of 2020 and stated that for all in-person dining will be at our sister restaurant Kintsugi. As for your claim that the ownership has change, that is not true and the false information and erroneous reviews you and your friends are spreading about our restaurants is simply despicable.

Went on a Wednesday around 6pm for a quick bite. Gyoza(6), sweet potato roll, shrimp tempura, dragon roll, then green tea mochi for dessert all reasonably priced and tasty.There is outdoor seating (3 tables), with sanitizer at the table, the staff is friendly and food came out quick.

Perry, I think you got the wrong restaurant. We do not serve gyoza or sweet potato roll, perhaps you are looking to review a different restaurant with a similar name? We are located in SoHo in Manhattan

I went to Takeshi Sushi for my anniversary dinner with my husband. The experience was wonderful!I got a Groupon for dinner for two, which was a great deal. I booked a table for Feb 14th in January and Takeshi Sushi kept me updated with my reservations. They called to confirm the reservation, even letting me know that even though the coupon doesn't apply on Valentine's Day, I can reschedule for any other day.They called again to confirm one week before and sent me a text two days before, which I loved, since I can be forgetful!The dinner itself was lovely. The chef was very friendly and he put on a great show for all diners! My husband enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant greatly, as it's something he mentioned a lot during our experience.We would love to go again! Takeshi Sushi was hospitable, clean, courteous, and most importantly, absolutely delicious sushi!
