An unforgettable experience in Porto. Kintsugi delivered one of the most creative and emotionally balanced tasting menus we’ve had in Portugal. Every course felt intentional — technical without being pretentious — and the pacing was spot on. The Japanese influence woven through Portuguese ingredients was incredibly well executed. The seafood courses especially were phenomenal, and the presentation bordered on art without sacrificing flavor. Service was polished, warm, and genuinely passionate about the food and wine pairings. A special thank you to our lovely servers, Samura and Cris, who made the evening feel personal, welcoming, and seamless from start to finish. Their warmth and knowledge elevated an already exceptional experience. The atmosphere strikes that rare balance between intimate and refined while still feeling relaxed and welcoming. It felt like a true culinary journey rather than just a dinner reservation. If you’re in Porto and want a memorable Michelin-level experience that feels modern, thoughtful, and different from the classic heavy tasting menus, Kintsugi is absolutely worth it. Insanely expensive for what you get and its not even that good. Service was slow and took forever to get our 5 bites of food. Horrible value and chutoro isn't otoro no matter what they decide to charge. The biggest laugh was the 10euro sake pour. Not a glass, we are talking a standard small cup that you finish on 3 sips.
