Fantastic food! The pakora gnocchi and whipped goat cheese were hits at the table. My kids also said it was the best butter chicken they've ever had and ate it all! Food: 5 Service: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40

We hadn't been to Sizzling Tandoor for a couple of years due to budget concerns, but after my partner got a career boost, we decided to celebrate and Kinu was always on the top of our list to return to since the restaurant updated. We were delighted at the experience and were so impressed with the service and food. From the moment we entered in the door we were greeted by the warm and friendly Kinu, the owner and manager. We had a great table, started with signature drinks and even a tasting of fine mezcal before dinner. We tried the stuffed jalapeno which I swear were grown in a secret lab they were so big, spicy and bursting with incredible flavour. Our main was okra masala (a favourite) curried coconut prawns and fish tikka. My daughter arrived late from Vancouver and the chefs whipped her up they're own brand of fish tacos, which, by her brightly-lit wide-eyes , were a smash! Not even a taste for Dad. Perfect meal. Cooked to our liking, hot and spicy! Couldn't ask for better. It was a 10/10 meal but the real MVP here is Kirn. She's something else. Intelligent, funny, adorable and proud of her restaurant. And she should be. We're planning on returning as soon as possible. Thank you Kirn, for making it a very memorable evening for all of us. Damn. I forgot to try the rice pudding! If you are looking for exceptional Indian cuisine paired with unmatched hospitality, Kinu by Sizzling Tandoor is a must-visit. The food was absolutely delicious. The Pindi Cholay was packed with rich, authentic flavors and paired perfectly with hot, fresh Tava Roti. The absolute highlight of the meal was the Kinu Chicken—succulent, flavor-packed, and beautifully cooked. Beyond the outstanding menu, the service truly sets this restaurant apart. The manager was incredibly friendly and attentive, caring for every guest with the same warmth and generosity as if she were hosting them in her own home. The ambience is remarkably elegant and posh, providing a refined backdrop that is perfect for any occasion—from intimate dinners to major celebrations. On top of that, they also provide catering services for weddings, which is no surprise given their exceptional standard of food and hospitality. Highly recommended! (The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures of other dishes I ordered, definitely give this place a try).
