Should be 4.5 stars, really, given the price performance ratio. Food was simply and homely, and generally quite nice. Ochazuke was pleasant if unassuming, fried tofu was rather nice, crispy octopus had a nice taste but was a little tough, and pork with ponzu sauce was unfortunately chewy. But the price was the absolute cheapest we had in our travels this round. Free onsite parking available. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Kiraku! The customer service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were invited to sit at the bar, which made the meal feel extra special. Even though we didn’t speak much Japanese, they happily used a translator to chat with us in English and were genuinely interested in hearing about our trip. The chef was fantastic and even recommended some dishes for us to try. Every dish was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care and fresh ingredients. The warm atmosphere and great conversation made it one of our most memorable meals of the trip. We highly recommend Kiraku if you’re looking for amazing food, friendly staff, and a cozy, authentic dining experience!
