For a place that's supposed to be known for dim sum, this was quite a disappointment. I haven't been to the original one in a long time, but since this opened up and was much closer, we decided to give it a try. We came on a weekday night, which is not a traditional time for dim sum, but we had a large group and some of the people wanted dim sum, so we had a mix of food. Pretty much all of the dishes and dim sum were just meh. We had several of the typical items. I don't think the fact that it was a weekday night explains the bad dim sum, since at least some of the dim sum these days is just frozen and steamed to order, that's how they can offer it anytime. The regular dishes we ordered also didn't stand out in any way. I don't even remember most of the dishes, but we had lobster, another seafood dish, etc. Again, there were 9 of us and we pretty much all agreed it was a bust. Probably not worth trying again unless I receive some compelling evidence from at least a few other friends. The atmosphere was definitely better than most typical Chinese restaurants, and service was good. But that hardly makes up for the food. Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Dim sum here was fantastic. The Xiu Mai was massive and very filling. We ordered the shrimp egg rolls, which arrived super hot, crispy and stuffed with shrimp. The fried shrimp balls were also fantastic. The short ribs and the sticky rice were also delicious and flavorful. I am excited about returning to this location again.
