If there were a way to rate this higher than 5 stars, we would. Koudai was incredibly welcoming and warm, and is an amazing conversationalist! He was funny, kind, and wanted to get to know each one of us. The sushi was beyond mind-blowing, with each bite melting in your mouth. We have never had sushi this good, and having it prepared by a chef as talented and wonderful as Koudai put the cherry on top. We cannot recommend enough! Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As I savored a bite of the salmon, it hit me like a tidal wave – an existential crisis descended upon me. I mean, seriously, this salmon was so good, it made me question the very fabric of reality. Each mouthful brought me closer to the end of this culinary masterpiece, and I couldn't handle it. Then, in a haze of gastronomic enlightenment, I glanced over at my partner who hadn't even touched their salmon yet. It was like I was Gollum eyeing the One Ring, except the "precious" in this scenario was that heavenly salmon. They were still oblivious to the life-altering experience awaiting them, and I was tempted to snatch their plate away – for their own good, I'm never going to look at Salmon the same way again, I'll be chasing this dragon until I visit Kitamura again someday.
