After two weeks of traveling through Matsuyama, Kochi, and Takamatsu, Kitchen Mama stands out as the absolute highlight of our trip. We loved it so much we came back for the second dinner in just three days! The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, and perfectly complemented by a relaxing background Music. [The Food] Everything we ordered was delicious and offered excellent value for money. Our top recommendations are: 1. Clam Chowder topped with pastry 2. Garlic Bread 3. Olive Stewed Beef 4. Neapolitan spaghetti [Traveler Tips] The owner runs the entire shop solo (chef and server!), so it is best to go for dinner when it is a bit less busy to enjoy the pace of the meal. Yet another retro cafe/restaurant on my trip to Kagawa. Unassuming little place with a small menu, but it packs a punch. This was lunch time... The wife got a lunch special set, and really there was too much variety to keep track of what she had. Basically it's a little bit of everything. I had the beef stew omurice. Very tasty stew, nice omelette, and some veggies for good measure. Both included soup and salad (nice dressing on the salad). All in all, was a great meal, and reasonable pricing.
