We enjoyed our time at the Izakaya when we were there in December, although we did not speak or understand Japanese, the owners were very patient with us while we used Google Translate to get out orders across. The food is genuinely fantastic, delicious with a homely feel and the Okonomiyaki was full of flavor and packed with ingredients. The Ume wine brewed by the lady boss was hands down the best I have drank during this trip. A pity we forgot to ask if she could sell us a bottle () We were happy to learn that the lady boss had visited our home country way back in 1999 !
