See Hommyo-ji Temple and visit this restaurant. Visitors state that it's fine to go here for the International meal. Come here for perfectly cooked pork if you are hungry.
The professional staff is the only thing that can spoil your evening at Kitchen Popeye. Nice service is something clients like here. The pleasant atmosphere gladdens people and attracts more guests. But google users rated this place and it didn't gain a high rating.

Small and assuming restaurant in a corner of Sugamo. The menu is in Japanese but is readable if you know kanas, or easily translatable otherwise! The shop offers a good selection of traditional meals. I had the omurice and while it wasn't the kind I expected, it felt like eating a home-cooked meal, which I loved. It is managed by a couple of lovely people who did everything they could to make me feel welcomed despite the language barrier! I had delicious omelet rice. The proprietress and the owner were very kind and the shop had a nice atmosphere. Above all, the cash register machine is the best. Highly recommended for those who like a retro atmosphere. I want people to keep using that cash register machine forever, including credit card, electronic money, and invoice processing. I will go again because I didn't know about the after-meal coffee and wanted to eat pork saute.
