We trudged in the rain for this store! The suzuyaki and dorayaki are good! Better if eaten warm The miso cookies are good but could be better if they were made thinner

You can smell the pleasant aroma outside the store. Even in the morning there are many people queuing to buy their goods. Recommend visiting early. The store may close on irregular days so visit in advance if possible to check their rest days.

Kobaido is located along National Route 42, a 5-minute walk from Kumano Hayatama Taisha Shrine, which is also part of the World Heritage Site. There is a parking lot for 7 cars next to the store, but it can get quite crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so you may not be able to get in. The ``Suzuyaki'', which resembles baby castella, is particularly famous, and the shape of the bell is based on the divine bell of Hayatama Taisha Shrine, making it a standard souvenir for worshipers. (It may be sold out!) Suzuyaki is placed inside the store, but if you tell them how many you have purchased, they will bring you a new one from the back of the store. The store staff also treated customers politely, which left a good impression! We also sell rice crackers, dorayaki, and monaka. If you go to Market Price right after it opens, it will be relatively empty even on weekends and holidays.
