This is the photo displaying food and beverage at Kōfū
Kōfū, nestled on Soshigaya Street in the vibrant Setagaya area, specializes in traditional Japanese sweets with a focus on desserts. Renowned primarily for its Mame Daifuku, this quaint eatery offers a variety of Japanese confections that allure both locals and visitors. Many have remarked on its friendly service, often mentioning a warm-hearted hostess, although recent details regarding the current staff or ownership remain sparse.

The establishment is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on most days, yet visitors should plan for an early arrival as some of the popular sweets tend to sell out swiftly. Accessibility could pose a challenge, as the facility lacks a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance. While paid street parking is available nearby, it might require a short walk. Information from recent visitors is limited, with no new reviews emerging over the past year, which may reflect changes within the shop.

Kōfū appears to be the kind of place where charm meets tradition, providing a nostalgic peek into Tokyo's confectionery scene. Offering a quick visit due to its limited seating and rapid sell-outs, it caters to those eager to sample genuine Japanese dessert offerings. For those interested in exploring Kōfū, a cautious approach is advised, considering the incomplete picture of its current status.

I visited around 10:30 on a weekday, and they had Mame Daifuku! The hostess spoke to me in a very friendly manner, and it warmed my heart to know that there are people like this in Tokyo these days. There were many different kinds of other Japanese sweets, so I would like to visit again.
