Had a meal at Kogai with some friends. On the positive side, the restaurant has a really comfortable environment, and the food was quite good, we enjoyed what we ordered. However, the service was unfortunately a letdown. It took us asking four times over the course of about 50 minutes just to get some water. The overall waitstaff seemed stretched, but one gentleman in particular had a noticeably impatient demeanor, which made the experience a bit awkward. It's a shame because the foundation for a great spot is clearly here. Hopefully, this is just an off night and they can get the front-of-house service to match the quality of the kitchen.
