This is one of my go-to places in the DMV for Kbbq but the one thing that makes me hesitate to go here is the grilling service. First, when you have the sign to “YES”they grill the meats way too fast. We would be halfway through the first meat when the second serving is almost done cooking. By the third serving, the cooked meats are cold. They don’t match the grilling pace to the customer’s eating pace, so it’s not very enjoyable. During multiple visits, the servers ignored the “NO” sign on our table and we had to tell them that we would like to do it ourselves. It feels very rushed. We ate the food too fast to get a good pic but it was delicious! I really liked the soy garlic sliced pork. We did all you can eat and it was nice to have options and not worry about not having enough to eat. We were full before our time was up! Our first time at Kogiya Korean BBQ. Had a wonderful experience there. Reservations on weekend is a must! We opted for the Option A AYCE. It i s everything you;d expect from this option;. Be aware of parking challenges in a small parking lot for a weekend dinner. Once inside the restaurant, Enjoy!
