My family and I went here on our second day in kuoto. A very good place to start with all locally harvested ingredients of Kyoto. Got a bar seating along w/ private dining room we were in. Easy self ordering through QR code. Depending on the time during your walk there, youll be able to see some nice sights of the night as we did for dinner reservations . Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000

The highlight of our meal was the chicken neck (seseri) tempura—a truly standout dish. The boneless chicken meat was tender and flavorful, while the tempura batter was perfectly light and crunchy. The added spice seasoning elevated the dish, beautifully balancing the chicken’s rich umami flavors with just the right touch of acidity and saltiness.
