We only found this hidden gem of a restaurant tucked away down a passageway in praia da rocha in the last few days of our holiday. The food, atmosphere and staff 1st class. We had poppadoms to start nicely fried not greasy accompanied by two dips a hot green chilli &a cooling yogurt raita. I had a fantastic fish curry with nan bread. My wife had lamb bhuna with pilaf rice. Everything arrive piping hot, and beautifully presented. The lamb was so tender you could cut it with a fork. My fish curry was very flavourful & spicy but not too hot. We were served by two lovely friendly girls who were very knowledgeable on the dishes, helping us with our choices. Make this a must on your next visit to praia da rocha as it will be for us. You will find the Royal tandoori on the right side of the road just up from the Jupiter hotel. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. The prices also very reasonable the best Indian restaurant we have been to in a long time.
