My wife and I found this place when our first pick didn't work out, and are we glad we did! The owner is a kind man, and despite limited English, we managed fine with using Google translate on the menu (which I have included; there is a drinks menu on the back too). We ordered the pork soba noodles and the squid okonomiyaki. The soba noodles were 最高 (saikō) — Excellent! Easily the best soba I've had. The okonomiyaki was also fantastic. If you're in the mood for delicious, homely food, this is your must-go stop in Nagoya!
