Our sushi cravings led us to one of Bahrain’s top sushi spots: Kojo. We ordered the Chicken Gyoza, California Maki, and Tempura Maki. The Chicken Gyoza had a perfect sear with a juicy, flavorful filling. The Tempura Maki was crispy, fresh, and absolutely delicious, while the California Maki was exceptional, balanced and full of flavor. Something I really appreciated was the waitress suggesting the thin sushi rolls, a great tip since we were craving sushi but didn’t have much room left. The ambience was another highlight: traditional, aesthetic, and wonderfully quiet. Kojo definitely hits the mark for a cozy and satisfying sushi experience.
