My husband & I are foodies and travel the world in search of creative cuisine, unusual wines & approachable service. Koki Gastrobar in Vigo was spectacular! The cuisine is Galcian with a modern twist. The space is intimate (love real candles on each table!) The staff lead by Chef Alberto & Sommelier Juan exudes hospitality. The menu consists of tapas to be shared. The flavors are perfectly balanced & each bite was better than the next. The wines (both by the bottle & glass) focus on small producers from Spain & France and truly compliment the menu beautifully. We absolutely LOVED our dining experience here & highly recommend this gem of a restaurant! See you next summer on our annual Vigo trip!!!! A truly unique experience from start to finish. From the front of house team to kitchen, the whole team are very welcoming from the beginning. The menu options offer a great mix of Galician cuisine but with a twist and modernised. The chef Alberto is truly passionate about food and the experience while Juan provides exceptional guidance on the wine and drinks selection to be paired with your order.
